The Arcanist Journals
Ever wanted to meet a demon? In the world of The Arcanist Journals, summoning one isn't exactly accepted, even though the humans are in the know about the supernatural.
Still, Norah is trained in the arcane arts and will use them to get out of a pickle - leading to her meeting Alistair, the Heir of Hell. Their story is the first in the Arcanist Journals series of supernatural romances.
Envisioned as a trilogy, the Arcanist Journals explore supernatural romance and are meant for adults. They delve deeper into themes of trauma, healing, and most importantly: healthy relationships, be it romantic or platonic. There's a good dash of humor and adventure, too.
For readers who like their romance a little more cosy than dark (no judgement for reading that, it's just not what I write).
I hope you enjoy the ride along with Norah, Alistair and their friends.

Book 1: Demon May Care
Book one in the series. Start here for the full experience. This is currently the only book being published, so you don't have much choice. Yet.
“Desperate times call for desperate measures.”
This saying becomes Norah’s life when she summons a demon in a bid for safety. The demon which turns up isn’t just any crossroads demon, however, but a full-fledged Lord of Hell who now finds himself with a live human in his care while juggling his own problems.
Alistair sees the opportunity in Norah’s stay and they make a deal: she becomes his companion and shield in the trappings of Underworld courting, and he will keep her safe in a dimension which would like nothing more than gobble her up, body and soul.
...all that because of one very good kiss.

Early praise for the first volume
"The world building is a highlight, demons, angels, the occult, and witches all woven together in a way that left me wanting more lore than we got. The characters were a strong point across the board, with Mrs. Swindon standing out as a favorite one. I also loved how much importance was placed on consent throughout the romance, it's handled thoughtfully and consistently."
Amanda, ARC reader
"Overall I absolutely loved the story. Even the side characters were enchanting and expressive. The world felt well built and the more political thread of the story really well thought of."
Marta, beta reader
"It excited me to read it (in more ways than one) and it definitely gave me the 'can't put this down' vibe."
Gerrit, beta reader
"I really didn't see some of the twists coming and was completely shocked when they were revealed. I highly recommend picking this one up when it comes out."
Sabrina, ARC reader
"I found myself really drawn into the moments and feeling every emotion along the way."
