About Eveline

The start
Eveline doesn't remember learning to read - suddenly, she just could (or that is how it felt). Writing wasn't long behind, with the production of an extremely cringy (yet loveable) story at the tender age of ten.
By 2007, Eveline's work consisted of several short stories, a 100k word fanfiction (all the baddies end up miserable and all the goody two-shoes end up happily married) and a first full-length original novel.
It was only in 2022 that Eveline started to take writing books more seriously, mostly because friends encouraged her to. She reworked her first novel (and is still figuring this one out), then wrote three more books from 2024 to the end of 2025.
Finally, an author friend encouraged her to send her work to a starting editor - and suddenly, there was actual progess! In 2026 she is set to indie publish her debut novel.

The process
Every writer has their own process, and some are truly diligent about this. They read the books, follow the classes, apply themselves to their craft.
Eveline has more of a 'feral raccoon' approach to writing. Most of her books are inspired by weird dreams, before following the muse when she comes calling, and then falling deep enough into a story. to let the hyperfocus produce a full book in a few months.
With this particular talent, and the cautionary tales of writers getting stuck and never finishing their series, Eveline decided to write the first versions of all the Arcanist Journals before starting the publishing process.
And that's how she knows it's a trilogy.

The Arcanist Journals
The Journals were born of one whiny text to a friend, concerning another project Eveline was working on.
"I can't write sex scenes, it's so weird!"
Cue That One Friend: "Treat it as a writing exercise. Just write a loose scene or two and come back to this book later."
Eveline cannot do loose scenes.
So obviously it became a short story. There had to be Chemistry Between Characters and Reasons For Sexytimes. The short story became longer and longer, side characters and revelations were added until it was a full-length romance book with an actual plot in need of editing and publishing.
And then That One Friend said: "I like those two other characters together."
You can guess how that went.
